Best Havana-Vedado holiday apartments

Great host, we were able to sit out and chat about life. Our lack of Spanish, and French languages didn't stop them from talking to us, and they are just very sweet people. Super location, wish we had stayed longer. Price was a bit high, but perhaps it's on par for Havana. Stay for the host - Natkin is superb, and so helpful!

This is a lovely house, lots of space and totally private, something which is very hard to find in Cuba, as most places are either hotels or casas particulares ie rooms in or adjoining a local person's house. It is the entire ground floor of an old colonial house in a middle class, quiet neighbourhood but still near to all the best areas of Havana. It is very secure as there is a fenced porch area, as can be seen from the photos. There is a separate residence on the upper floor of the house but that is accessed from it's own door adjacent to the house and is completely separate, there is no internal stairs and no way to access the ground floor from the upper floor. For 3 people staying in the house it is much better value than an hotel or casa particular. There are 3 double bedrooms, so for more than 3 people staying, it is even better value again. I would highly recommend this house and the area generally if you are looking for space and privacy.

Lovely casa in vedado, right by the malecon. It was about a 10minute taxi to the old town and was easy to flag down a ride from the main road. You share the casa with other guests as there is another room that is rented out. Everything was very safe with locks on the doors etc. The facilities are quite basic but good for Cuban standards. There was a fully functioning kitchen with a fridge and our room had air conditioning.

Very good location, centrally located in Vedado just a few minutes from Malecon and a great view from the roof terrace.
