Your apartment in St. Petersburg is the perfect base for planning sightseeing tours in this great city. Many flights take you quickly from Germany to the centre of Russian culture, where a breathtaking city centre awaits you: more than 2,300 palaces, castles and other magnificent buildings are on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Only Venice can score with even more history. Many myths entwine around the origin of Saint Petersburg and it is said that Tsar Peter the Great created the “window to Europe” from the swamplands of the Neva. Other sources prove that already in the 10th century the first settlers lived in the region and laid the foundation stone for one of the greatest cities in the world. It is best to take plenty of time to discover Saint Petersburg. If you live in the city centre, you can easily get from your apartment to the most important and beautiful sights on foot or by public transport: These certainly include the famous Hermitage and the adjacent Winter Palace, with a total area of more than 100,000m². The imposing cathedral of the Church of the Resurrection with its breathtaking vaulted ceiling was built around 1900 according to the Moscow model. Also worth a visit are the Admiralty building and the Isaaks Cathedral on the Neva.

Since the city is also considered a cultural metropolis, you have the opportunity to visit many theatres and galleries; or perhaps you are interested in ice hockey and football, because interesting game constellations always attract fascinated visitors to the large stadiums. Saint Petersburg is also known for exciting chess games. Boris Spasski’s match against Bobby Fischer was certainly legendary, but it had to be played in Reykjavik in 1972 because of the Cold War.

Very nice apartment. The photos shown are equal to reality. The stairs and stages were under construction, but it doesn't matter, because the apartment itself has a modern door safety and it felt very comfortable. Only the double bed could be a little bit more pleasant :) .Bernhard reviewed СENTER - Wifi - 3 bedrooms :) in St. Petersburg
