Explore historical places from your accommodation in Schöneberg
Our apartments in Berlin-Schöneberg are located in the northwest of the city. Since Schöneberg merged with Tempelhof at the beginning of 2001, the district is called Tempelhof-Schöneberg. The village of Schöneberg was first mentioned in documents as “Villa Sconenberch” in November 1264, but it is assumed that the first settlers settled in this area around 1200. Today it is a beautiful and worth seeing quarter, which demands long walks. Visit e.g. the Bavarian quarter, in which Albert Einstein already lived. In the east of Schöneberg are the Königin-Luise-Gedächtniskirche and the impressive Gasometer with a height of almost 80 metres. You will find beautiful green spaces in the Cecilia Gardens, an extraordinary urban quarter with beautifully designed facades and impressive Japanese cherry trees, which enchant this “Art Deco Open Air Museum” in spring, which has been designated a garden monument. From your private holiday apartment in Berlin-Schöneberg you can also reach the Lindenhof estate, which is located in the south of Schöneberg.

Nice, cosy, "feels like home":Stig reviewed Bayerischer Platz in Schöneberg
this is near to S station, which is more cleaner than U transport. The room is comfortable, clean, bathroom also, even if you share it with others it is always clean and never crowded.milica reviewed Pension Thomas in Schöneberg
The apartment was very comfortable and clean and it is within easy walking distance to the local supermarket, bakery, restaurants bus stops and the S-Bahn. The flat has no oven or washing machine and as I stayed for 10 nights and 9 days I missed the convenience of these items. One thing to note for a long stay, if you require a change of linen/towels etc., you will need to pay extra for this. I made do as I was on my own (the flat sleeps two) and linen and towels were provided for two.Karen reviewed VISAGE APPART 0.1 in Schöneberg
