Try to imagine: some days in Rome, walking through art and history, eating the great cuisine of the "Bel Paese", having a little rest and enjoying your time with a good company. Now add the frame to this wonderful snap-shot: an apartment, a cosy stay where to spend your holiday without missing the comforts of your own home. But not a common apartment, the one with an "A" capital letter, best placed, well furnished, really homey... and with a stunning view on the amazing St. Peter's dome. Stop working your mind: here it is, in front of your eyes in all its splendor, it's more real than ever, and you just have to reserve it.
In the ancient Trastevere district (in the borough's main street, to be precise), the flat in question is the one where everybody would like to live in: two bedrooms (for a total of 6 guests), two bathrooms (one of these with shower), an equipped kitchen and two terrific terraces overlooking the city's rooftops and monuments. In fact, it is located on the 5th floor of a typical Roman building (it has the elevator, don't worry!), right on its summit, so the sky will be the only thing over your head. You can have wonderful meals admiring the panorama, having knowledge that is very hard (if not impossible) to find a place like this.
The apartment's amenities include: heating system, flat screen TV, free wi-fi connection, docking station, oven, microwave, washing machine, fridge, water kettle, toaster, iron and hair dryer. While the "district's amenities" comprise: restaurants, locales open till late night, shops, beautiful people, and a lot of entertainment. Trastevere, in fact, is one of the most animated "Rioni" of the Capital (above all during the weekend), a meeting point for the Roman youth and a required stop for all the tourists. Don't be astonished about the hustle and bustle of the area: it is the normality! Rather, I think you'll really appreciate it, especially if you're a fun-loving.
Starting from the apartment you easily move through Rome, both by foot and means of transport: the number 8 tram stops exactly at 100 meters out of the door (it arrives until Piazza Venezia), as well as many bus lines (the number 122, for example, brings to Circo Massimo); while, if you prefer walking, Campo de' Fiori is reachable in 10 minutes (around 1Km), Piazza Navona and the Pantheon in 15 minutes, the Colosseum in less than 30 minutes.
Have I convinced you? Look at the pictures: they speak for themselves!
How to get here:
- from Fiumicino airport, you can take the FL1 train that brings to Trastevere station ("Fara Sabina" direction, 7 stops) and then the number 780 bus ("Piazza Venezia" direction) till "Mastai - Trastevere" (8 stops). Get off and continue by foot for 200 meters
- from Termini station, you can take the H line bus ("Dei Capasso" direction) until "Sonnino - San Gallicano" (16 stops). Get off and continue by foot for 150 meters
- if you prefer, i can arrange a car for you from the airport to the apartment.
The Overnight Rome City Tax (€ 3,50 per person per night with the exception of children up to 10 yrs) is due cash upon arrival. This fee, (max 10 nights) is not included in the total rate.

Our family of 5 had a great time staying at this apartment in Trastevere. We had been recommended by a friend to stay in this neighborhood and couldn't have been happier about the location. It was very easy to jump across the river and into all of the main sites of Rome, but we just loved walking the streets of Trastevere and spent a very memorable last afternoon/evening on the Piazza having a great meal and enjoying the local flavor.
The apartment itself is just as advertised. It is in good condition and is very comfortable. The shower is a little cramped and odd, but it was very serviceable. it rained a lot while we were there so we didn't spend a lot of time on the terrace(s), but it was so nice to have that outdoor space. A great stay in Rome.

Attentive and helpful. We corresponded mostly with Emiliano prior to our arrival, but then dealt with Tomasso entirely during our stay. We didn't need much and he set us up with all the info we needed when we arrived. Communication with Emiliano wasn't always super fast, but was always thorough and responsive. Would gladly stay with him in one of his properties again.

Den Gastgeber haben wir in den vier Tagen nicht kennengelernt, ein von ihm Beauftragter hat uns begrüßt und die Wohnung gezeigt.
