Apartments in Nottingham, at the pulse of Robin Hood legend
Your apartment in Nottingham can either be reached by plane via London and East Midlands Airport or by ferry or Eurostar. A rental car is recommended as there is public transport in and around Nottingham, but you are much more flexible with your own vehicle, especially if your journey is to take you from Nottingham to other destinations in England. Maybe to Liverpool? Or Edinburgh? Perfect, because we have for you both Apartments in Liverpool and private Apartments in Edinburgh, Scotland, ready. But first Nottingham will surely inspire you. It offers a wonderful mix at buildings from long past times and the flair of a modern university city. Thus e.g. the impressing market place of Nottingham spreads out before you and the oldest pub of England, ?Ye Olde Trip ton of Jerusalem?, lures with urigem Ambiente, while hip business, clubs and bars speak a more modern language.
England attracts you from your private holiday home in Nottingham
You probably don’t have much time to enjoy your cosy private holiday home in Nottingham because there’s so much to see. North of the city is the legendary Sherwood Forest, where Robin Hood and his companions are said to have set up camp around the imposing Major Oak. It is assumed that this huge oak tree is almost 1000 years old and Robin’s favourite tree. In the meantime, oak seedlings have been exported all over the world, and in Dorset the fruits of this famous oak have been turned into a small forest since 2003. In the southwest of the city is the Attenborough Nature Reserve, where you can spend hours on long walks. Or how about a side trip to the coast? About 133 kilometres east of Nottingham is the small town of Sutton-on-Sea.

The rooms are very clean, very homely with some very nice touches such as soft bath robes, slippers, water, tea and coffee in each room. The bathroom which was next to our room and as good as ensuite was very clean and presented to a great standard with separate shower, bath and complete with complimentary toiletries and individual towels in our room.Dan reviewed Bespoke service, themed amazing rooms and magnificent breakfast in Forest Fields
