Alexandra gave me a very warm welcome after my long flight and helped me a lot in finding my way around in San Jose and Costa Rica in general. She even organised a trip to Tortuguero for me including a stay at a friends hostel, that was a really amazing experience. Saw lots of wild animals there and baby turtles hatching!! Alexandra is in general very helpful and provided me with maps and a lot of travel tips. Her breakfast was delicious (self made oven baked bread)! I especially loved that she has a lot of cats and dogs staying with her which she originally found on the streets and then gave them a new home. The room and the apartment itself is clean, spacious and silent. I even saw hummingbirds outside my bedroom two times! Thanks a lot Alexandra!!
