Looking at the city of Frankfurt In Germany from afar, you could be forgiven for thinking it is solely a modern metropolis. After all, the skyline is dominated by plush skyscrapers and modern, high-tech office buildings. However, the city is also home to an interesting selection of historic buildings too and this eclectic mix of ancient and modern comes together neatly as a whole, making Frankfurt a great destination for a city break. The Sachsenhausen district in Frankfurt is situated on the south side of the River Main and is home to some of the city’s finest museums. As with the vast majority of the accommodation available from 9flats, the holiday apartments in Sachsenhausen are situated in the residential areas of the district. This brings a more intimate touch to your holiday and gives you a unique perspective on life in Frankfurt as it is for the locals. While the activity of couchsurfing in Sachenhausen remains popular, by renting a holiday apartment from 9flats you will allow yourself a much greater degree of personal space and higher standards of comfort.
Experience Art and Culture with Holiday Apartments in Sachsenhausen

Each year, Sachsenhausen plays host to the Museum Embankment Festival where all of the museums in the area open throughout the night and celebrations take place in the streets. Sachsenhausen also has a delightful old town district with historic, traditional-style pubs lining quaint, narrow, cobbled streets. Convenient location. 5-10 minute walk to two train stations (good access to city center, airport and Messe) , supermarkets and restaurants.
Rooms are very clean. Especially the kitchen was nice.
Thank you Sven!
Einfach prima. Matthias reviewed Apartment-ffm in Sachsenhausen
Used for the business trip to the Frankfurt Book Fair because all the hotels are surprisingly expensive, while this flat was very reasonable for 3 people.
Comfortable beds and couch, clean kitchen and bathrooms.
Very quiet area at night.
The flat is very close from the South Station (Sudbahnof).
Such a convenient area with some supermarkets (one of them is open till 24:00) and a lot of good restaurants because it's near Sachsenhausen (the nearest one is only 10 seconds walk).
Would like to use it again thanks to very kind host.Osamu reviewed Schöne ruhige 3 Zimmer Wohnung in Sachsenhausen
Thank you Sven!
Frankfurt was a quick stay in line with the Ambiente Fair. We booked it spontaneously and we were very pleased that the stay was so uncomplicated. The room is fantastic, the bathroom clean and it felt like coming home. Brilliant. We even found a car park space close by. Public transport is right outside the door. Next time, we'll also pop into some of the pubs just round the corner. Great stay for a great price.Jessica reviewed moderne Altbau-Wohnung am Main in Sachsenhausen
