Sailing Tours on the Mediterranean
Giogia is a 13m Hallberg Rassy 42F sailing boat for the high seas that is characterized by its solidity, comfort and the quality of its furnishings. Giogia has a powerful and well-balanced bottom that ensures a smooth sail and full comfort at the top of its category. On board everything has been planned and built in order to satisfy the highest safety standards. The cockpit is in the middle, spacious and protected by a cover, the deck is furnished in teak wood, and is functional both for sailing and for life on board. Inside there are two double-bed cabins with bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living room with two single sofas and a map table.
In ten years (from 1991 to 2001) 181 Hallberg- Rassy 42 F have been built and GIOGIA is number 18 of this series. Produced in 1991, over the last three years substantial improvements and maintainance works have been made, including the replacement of the engine, of the teak wood furnishings and of all electrical and plumbing facilities. Giogia also includes all the necessary equipment for safe travel, including a satellite location machine, an inflatable raft and all the safety precautions required by law. The new and comfortable tender also facilitates short displacements away from the boat.

• ONE DAY SAILING: One day at sea off the Roman coast, between Santa Marinella and Civitavecchia, with a swimming stop and lunch on board. The guests can be picked up and accompanied back to the tourist port of Riva di Traiano, approximately one hour away from Rome.
• SHORT CRUISING: A long week-end in the Argentario peninsula with stop overs on the islands of Giglio and Giannutri. Day 1 departure by car to Riva di Traiano and sail to the port of Cala Galera in Argentario. Day 2 sailing to the island of Giglio and lunch in Giannutri, in the afternoon return to Argentario. Day 3 departure for Riva di Traiano and travel back to Rome.
• CRUISING TO THE ISLANDS: One week sailing between the Pontian islands with a stopover in Ischia for a thermal bath. The cruise begins the evening of Day 1 from Fiumicino and a night sail to Ponza. The following days the boat will stop over in Palmarola, Ventotene and Ischia with night stops in the port or at sea. Return to Fiumicino on Day 7. Guests are offered a pickup and return to Fiumicino port. Upon request the cruise can end on one of the islands, with the transfer back to Rome from Formia by car and to the island by flying dolphin.
• WEEK END ON THE ISLANDS: Three days sailing between the islands of Ponza, Palmarola and Ventotene. Pickup and return to Rome from Formia with travel to the island by flying dolphin where the cruise begins.
