Bozena's place is really nice and a very good choice for everyone interested in a city trip to NYC! The area around is nice and quiet and everything you need is pretty nearby (supermarket, diner). Furthermore it's very easy and convenient to get into the city. We took the community lines every day which took us only 20 minutes to get to Times Square (3 dollar each for one ride). The outlet "Jersey Gardens" is only 30 minutes away by bus.
Many thanks to Bozena for being a very very nice and supportive host!! If we ever come back to NY we will for sure book the same place!

This room (blue) was a perfect place away from the frenetic pace of NYC! It lived up to the description and my expectations. It was clean & spacious, the bed was comfortable and access to wifi and kitchen amenities were easy.
Catch a cab from your airport to the city. Then take the bus straight to leonard st from the port authority bus terminal gate 51 between 42nd and 8th. Please dont cab from airport to leonard st. You will be billed $120.
I stayed for 7 days. Its a 30min bus ride with $3.00 fee each way.
My tip for day 1 is to make you way to a tourist info centre such as the "Gray Line NY Visitor Center" for general advice & bus passes.
I dont reco the NY pass if you are there < than a week. You don't have enough time to cram all activities to 'break even' on the $. Pace yourself and pre book the liberty crown tour, empire state tix. Everything else can be bought when you are there. Get the red hop on hop off bus vs blue. Get a subway pass aswell.

A very quiet area after a busy day in new york. There is a bus every 5 minutes, which takes no longer than 20 to 30 minutes, even during rush hour. Jersey garden outlet is only 30 minutes by bus as well. The room was spacious, so enough room for all the shopping bags! :)

Bozena is an ideal host - she genuinely cares for people and goes 'above and beyond' to ensure they are comfortable and happy. This to me is a crucial part of being a successful host & it made my trip so much more enjoyable. As a resident NYC for many years, Bozena's insider knowledge is exceptional and she takes the time to chat about places you are keen on visiting to offer her guidance and advice.
Make it a point to chat with Bozena on day 1 to get your NYC tips. She is hard to get so make the most of your conversations with her!
Thanks again for making my trip so enjoyable - I will definitely be back someday!!

Bozena was very kind! She spend many time to tell you about travelling to NYC and gave us even more information about New Jersey. Also the "insider" informations like the Staten Island Ferry to get the best look at NYC and the Statue of Liberty were given to us by Bozena! Ahh and you need to go to Victoria's Secret in SOHO, that is what Bozena told to us and we really enjoyed it!! Happy Holidays!
