I bought this apartment for my son when he turned 18 and went to study in Barcelona. We seek a downtown apartment. In fact, just 20 minutes walk you are in the Plaza Universitat, one of the most emblematic of Barcelona, next to Pl. Catalunya, and that he liked walking down to see the skaters who used to skate by. Not far away, about 10 minutes away it is the MACBA (Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art) and where a few more skaters gather. It was a usual visit to my son, architecture student and skate enthusiast. His mother and I preferred to take the bus 14 and get off to the Barceloneta, so when we went to visit him during the course, as when we were a few days of vacation in the summer. We used to go buy the Mercat del Ninot morning and dine in our lovely balcony at night. Now my son is back in town and has set up his architectural practice, but do not want to lose the apartment. Maybe grandchildren can enjoy it too someday. But what we do have clear it is that we want to keep it, and meanwhile can enjoy it as we have done.
