The palace Morla and Melgarejo is one of the oldest houses in the city. Data have their presence since at least the thirteenth century ("Book of diversities of Jerez de la Frontera"). Even earlier, XI-XII centuries, there are indications of its headquarters and palace in the Almohad period.
