Su Leigh

We (Leigh and Liz) are a mature (yet young) Australian couple seeking accommodation and meals in exchange for up to 20 hours work each, per week. We have had a lot of experience working in France ~ mainly renovating ancient buildings but also helping in B&B's and in organic gardens (in the South of France). We are also experienced hosts (here in Australia) on Helpx and have always received very complementary reviews. I am a vegetarian (I do eat fish) and Leigh eats most things. We are both artists; Leigh is a sculptor and musician and Liz is a painter and we would like to have space to create our art in our "time off" hours please. We have our own car so can be independent and also run errands for our hosts. We are enthusiastic workers. Leigh is very practical,was originally a draughtsman, then a project engineer, and then a building contractor before he became a full time artist. I have run a cafe, a tourist office, an art gallery and an antique shop. We are both interested in gardening, cooking (both excellent cooks), house sitting, house work, looking after children, caring for pets, we can turn our hand to most things. Our primary language is English, Liz speaks some French and Leigh speaks some French and Spanish. I am keen to learn more French.
