Can I advertise my holiday home or apartment on 9flats?

Unfortunately, we do not offer the possibility to advertise individual properties directly on 9flats. However, we will be happy to help you find the best 9flats partner to allow your property to be displayed our website. Please send us an e-mail with all current partners and corresponding links to the property to support@9flats.com.

Search basics

How does it work?

In 9flats you can search for any kind of accommodation for vacation: Hotels, Hostels, Apartments, B&B and so on.
We browse the top booking sites for you to find accommodations at the best possible price.
Properties are listed by commercial websites partners and they are also handling the entire booking process. In order to book an accommodation you simply need to search it with our search engine and book it on the partner page to which you will be automatically redirected. Easy!

How can I see if an apartment is available?

Enter your travel dates in the calendar in the search box. Then you will know immediately if the accommodation is still available for your dates.

Which type of accommodations are available on 9flats?

9flats lists several millions of different accommodation types worldwide. You could find Hotels, Hostels, Apartments, Villas, Loft, Chalet and many others. Of course you can find unique accommodations like castles, house boats, or tree houses.

Why are there price differences with certain vacation homes?

9flats finds the best price for each holiday home for the desired travel period. As different booking sites have different fees, there can be price differences of up to a certain percentage. We show you all available prices in a transparent comparison. You can then choose which offer you prefer to book, usually the end provider is always the same. Sometimes the price can change when being redirected to the corresponding booking site. In this case, please send an e-mail to support@9flats.com

Bookings

Can I already book for the next year?

Some accommodations can be booked well in advance. Just select your desired travel dates in the calendar and let us show you all available accommodations.

Can I book directly on 9flats?

It is not possible. In all the cases, you will be directed to the corresponding booking site. Please be aware that we cannot take bookings over the phone. However, we are very happy to help you with your booking and will answer your questions you will send to support@9flats.com.

How and when do I find out if my booking request has been confirmed?

You will receive a booking confirmation email from the company who listed the property you choose. If not, please contact them directly. We do not have any possibility to provide it or request it.

If there is a difference between the price on 9flats and the one on the booking site, which one is the correct one?

The price on the booking site is always the valid one. A price difference can occur, e.g. due to problems in data transmission or if the partner changed the price since the last update. We try to do our best to prevent these mistakes. If you find such a mistake, please send an e-mail to support@9flats.com.

What should I do if I do not get any booking confirmation email?

Please also check your spam folder for the booking confirmation email. It can take up to 1-2 workdays until the booking is confirmed. In case you have not received any confirmation after 48 hours, please contact the website where you made the booking.

Payments

9flats never ask to wire transfer any money. Also 9flats never send payment emails. Most important, we do not ask for any direct payment, nor through any of our agents, which are not allowed to make it.

Which payment methods are there to choose from?

That depends on the provider. We do collaborate with several booking sites each of which offer different payment methods like credit card, direct debit, Paypal, or cash payment. You can find all available payment methods on the partner site to which you have been redirected. Please be aware that with some providers you can only pay with a credit card.

Check in & out

How can I contact the landlord?

After booking, you will receive the address of the accommodation as well as the contact information of the provider or owner of the accommodation. A detailed description of the check-in and check-out information and the contact information of the landlord will be sent to you shortly before the start date of your trip.

How much does booking via 9flats cost?

The service is completely free for users, there are no additional fees. Of course you will pay the accommodation cost in the partner website.

What is included in the final price?

All costs and services are displayed before the final booking confirmation. Please note that some fees needs be paid on the arrival (e.g. electricity, water consumption). In some cases, you may need to pay visitor’s tax to the landlord on arrival.

Cancellations

Is it possible to cancel my booking?

In any case 9flats cannot operate any cancellation. You can cancel the booking based on what cancellation policy allows. The cancellation policy depends on the provider. You will find the name of your provider on the booking confirmation or the provider’s website. In doubt please contact the website where you made the booking.

Why has my reservation been cancelled?

We don’t have that information, since the booking took place in a third party website. Please contact the website where you made the booking.

How does 9flats select the search results?

We list all properties according to your search criteria and the filtered options selected by you. We also use different algorithms to present the best search results to you. In any case we do show only top partners listings.
