Great distance to NYC! 300 meters walk to the bus, and then 3$ dollars for a 15-20 minute busride to the center of Manhattan, from where you can take the Metro etc.!
I lived in the Pink room. What you see is what you get. But thats also all you need, because who's there to do much other than sleep.. :)
The Host, is very helpful and sweet. She made my stay feel like it was a home and I felt more than welcome. Thank you!
Note: To get to the Pink Room, you must walk true the Green Room. So definetly worth the few extra money if you like a little privacy. :) Enjoy!

I really enjoyed the stay in Jersey. Going to New York ( Tim square) takes you a 5 minutes walk to the bus station and another 20 minutes or less ( depending on the traffic) by bus. Just take the line 125 to bus terminal New York (3 Dollar) and go to gate 51 to get back to jersey.
If you want to go to the statue of liberty, just go to one of the bus stations in jersey and go by bus to the transportation center at journal square ( 5-10 minutes) and take the train in direction WTC to "exchange place", arrived there you can just take a ship to the statue. ( Costs about 18 Dollar) You can even go to the statue of liberty and get back with a ship to New York from there, so you can go Jersey City-Statue of Liberty-New York-Jersey in a really fast time and very cheap.
The ride from Jersey to JFK was about 60 Dollar by Uber.

Bozena is an ideal host - she genuinely cares for people and goes 'above and beyond' to ensure they are comfortable and happy. This to me is a crucial part of being a successful host & it made my trip so much more enjoyable. As a resident NYC for many years, Bozena's insider knowledge is exceptional and she takes the time to chat about places you are keen on visiting to offer her guidance and advice.
Make it a point to chat with Bozena on day 1 to get your NYC tips. She is hard to get so make the most of your conversations with her!
Thanks again for making my trip so enjoyable - I will definitely be back someday!!
