This house is completely modernised and recently refurbished detached property conveniently situated in the heart of Terryglass Village & 300 meters from the marina, on Shannon lane, the road leading to the marina.
There is a historic well said to cure headaches in the woodland to the rear of the property which is accessible from a gateway beside the house.
There is also woodland in the same area to the rear but has been left untouched to allow local wildlife to flourish, so you can wake up to the sound of birdsong.
Terryglass is very central with the entire midland lake system at your doorstep.
The house comprises of a living room, dining room annex leading to a kitchen with a very large gas/electric cooker perfect for large family meals. There are three bedrooms with a king size bed in the rear bedroom, a double bed in the front room and a bunk bedroom & a underfloor heated wetroom. There is a single futon bed which can be used for a seventh guest as required.
Outside is a patio area with BBQ.
There is an old tube T.V. (25"?) which is hooked up to a free-to-air satellite dish, so you can only get UK stations at this time. Bring a sky card if you use that to get full listing. There is also a DVD player(so you can play DVDs for kids) & a HiFi with a headphone jack adapter for playing music from a phone or other device you might bring with you.
Given the proximity to the marina, this is a perfect location to split with a cruiser rental from one of the many hire businesses in the locale, here's the answer to a very large group.
Main house, parking and gardens.
There is an adjoining garage which will remain locked along with a small storage room inside the house used to store linen and cleaning items.

Terryglass locals take their fun seriously, annually great events are run such as the arts festival in summer, Halloween, St. Patrick's day and Christmas.
The Taste of Lough Derg festival 2014 runs from 13 July - 14 September
The revamped Science Centre at Birr Castle exploring Birr Castle's scientific history is now open
Portumna has a bus service to Dublin. There are train services to nearby towns such as Roscrea and Birr.
By car, this trip takes me 2 hours (keeping within speed limits) from Dublin. M7
