Apartments in Ljubljana, the historical capital of Slovenia
Ljubljana is considered one of the most important traffic junctions south of the Alps, so that you can also reach the city from Germany easily, e.g. by plane. The international airport is only 15 kilometres away from your apartment in Ljubljana. If you would like to book a city stay, you could do without a rental car. From the airport you can get to the city either by taxi or by public transport, and in the city centre buses are available. If you want to enjoy the Mediterranean flair during your stay, book your trip in summer, because then not only numerous concerts will take place in the old town and the castle, but the great weather will lure you to the parks or the promenade at the Ljubljanica or seduce you to a walk through the zoo. The city centre is also worth a visit: e.g. St. Nicholas’ Cathedral and the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra, founded in 1701. If you first want to get a literal overview of the city, go up to the historic castle complex. There you will find the impressive city with the listed old town area at your feet and invite you to plan your perfect tour.
Book a private holiday home in Ljubljana
We recommend a visit to the Slovenian National Gallery, which displays interesting works of art by Slovenian painters and sculptors. The building was built in 1896 and the foundation stone for the magnificent collection was laid in 1918. The famous Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik (1872-1957) created impressive buildings not only in Vienna and Melk, but also in his hometown of Ljubljana: Take a look at the landmark “Three Bridges” or the Slovenian National and University Library from the years 1930-1936. Your private holiday home in Ljubljana is also perfect to experience the lively market life on a Saturday that takes place around the cathedral. You would like to get to know other cities on your trip? For example, you can reserve an apartment in Radovljica in Slovenia. Or how about a private holiday apartment in Trieste, on the Italian Adriatic coast?

This flat is perfect for two people visiting Ljubljana. We were in town for a wedding and were able to easily walk to every venue of the event. Across the rooftops we even had a view of a corner of the castle. The flat is newly remodeled and very well appointed. We would stay here again, and hope to.Craig reviewed Classic studio for 2, AC, WiFi, parking at the vicinity in Ljubljana Center
