Guests often ask me the most asked question in the West: "What do you do?", referring only to my occupation rather than "What is your passion?" The first not a simple question to answer for me if you belief a person is more than his occupation (the holistic approach). My passion is making art and especially acrylic paintings. But this only makes me happy but does not pay for the bills, so currently I am a parttime postman/trainer in the Centre of Amsterdam, manage this private room and do some freelance Text corrections (Dutch language). For the long term I am studying for Debt counselor, and thus currently for volunteering I am a budgetbuddy (coach) to support the study , and some other financial services. And also for my cognitive training in the morning I study Spanish, ¡Español! I am from Amsterdam and my roots go back to the 17th century! I can tell you a lot and love telling you what and where to see or experience. I myself don't like being a tourist, but like to blend in as a local when I visit other countries and cities. I am an experinced travelar and have been an eco-volunteer on several occasions. Furthermore I am an artlover, drawing with conté crayons, acryl painting, biking in Amsterdam, outdoors, frequent cinema visitor, café solo, permaculture balcony, try to be eco (refuse! (plastic bags), re-use and recycle), practicing Jiujitsu if I can or some yoga, cooking like Jamie Oliver for friends and family, psychology/filosofie books and quality newspapers, humanist/atheïst. I believe in the sharing community and the universal human and animal rights worldwide. Looking forward to meeting you and your story and hope you can feel as being at home away from home.
