Holidays in the United Kingdom are definitely something different. Why always fly in the heat? Why not conquer the north of Europe? For example Wales. Wales has a landscape, cozy cottages and charming apartments in Gwynedd that you can rent from the locals. Gwynedd is a “Unitary Authority”, an administrative district similar to the independent towns in Germany, whose beaches are on the north-west coast of Great Britain and which also includes the island of Angelsey. The houses are small, but very beautiful, because most of the buildings are made of local granite and slate and give the townscape its typical appearance. From the entire house to the double room with terrace in Caernaforn you can choose the perfect holiday home in this part of Great Britain. In contrast to couchsurfing in Gwynedd, where you live with the landlords, here you have your holiday accommodation to yourself. If you want to travel with many friends or extended family, you will find for example Cottages in Betws-y-Coed with up to 12 beds, situated in the Snowdonia National Park on a 14 hectare plot. The village is famous for its legendary waterfalls, wooded gorges and exciting bridge constructions. Beech best fast, because above all the private accommodations in Gwynedd in and around the national park are always particularly fast assigned.
Climbing, hiking and nature can be enjoyed by tenants of an apartment in Gwynedd.
Almost half of the district of Gwynedd belongs to the Snowdonia National Park. Every year millions of visitors, mainly English and Welsh, are attracted by a fantastic natural area. If you have chosen a cosy apartment in Gwynedd, all possibilities are open to you: You can go climbing in the mountains – the Snowdon is the highest mountain with 1085 meters -, you can wander around with your hiking rucksack, fish in mountain lakes, take fantastic nature photos, marvel at waterfalls, discover rare plants and roam through slate quarries. Take a look at some photos of the area and you’ll be enchanted by the beauty of Wales. And then choose your holiday home and contact the landlords right away! The many, very special offers of villas and country houses will not make your choice easy.
The private apartments in Gwynedd have British style and chic.
The stone walls, the fireplaces and the heavy, colourful armchairs in the midst of antiques – some of the furnishings in the private rental objects testify to very high class, British chic and extremely noble taste. It’s an excellent place to spend your holiday – like a count in former times. With us you find similarly charming vacation domiciles like renovated fisherhouse in Swansea at the south coast of Wales. But also in the neighbouring country, England, designer apartments and luxury houses in London are rented by private individuals, so that you can save enormous costs if you spend your holidays in this way or live for a longer period of time in another place.

We really enjoyed our stay in Criccieth in this apartment. The second bedroom was ideal for our 1-year old's carry-cot. The lounge was comfortable with a dining table which had views to the sea on one side - fantastic. The host was really helpful and friendly, meeting us on arrival and being flexible with or needs. Definitely wold recommend this place to anyone thinking of visiting the area and wanting more flexibility and freedom than offered by B&Bs, especially as the price is comparable.
