About Norman
As an Englishman living in France, I've very much fallen in love with this little known and scenically stunning region of France. Having married a local girl, I started visiting the Chartreuse frequently in the 90's. By 2000, we'd found a suitable old barn to convert into a rural gite... a long held ambition. By the end of 2003, we'd completed the conversion and we're keen to launch the gite as a very special holiday destination. Our accommodation now boasts a very international clientele. Many of our guests have now become firm friends and return each year to sample further delights of the region.
