About Maria
Hello I am Maria Together with my Husband Michael we re-located to the traditional wine producing village of Ellenz on the Moselle in February 2010. We are both originally from London England, however my family are originally from the Republic of Ireland and re located to London in the late 1950s and Michael has a German mother originally from Leipzig in Saxony and his Father from London. We saw and fell in love with this 500 year old listed building in the centre of the village and decided to make it our home. The property was formerly owned by the Electorate of Trier and built in 1531, our aim is to restore the building to as near as its original condition as possible, but we remember we are only custodians of this piece of local German history, so while we do this, we would like to welcome you and to offer our self catering accommodation, we manage the property ourselves and like to be on hand throughout your stay and personally greet all our guests on arrival.
