We are offering a cosy private room in an old historical 4-storey Greek house with a double bed for one or two people in the heart of Old Istanbul. It's an authentic neighborhood very close to the seaside of the Golden Horn. Very close to Taksim and Sultanahmet. Our home is located in Fener/Balat in the historic peninsula of Istanbul. The neighborhood is also on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The area's architectural monuments, churches, synagogues, public baths, and markets preserve their rich historical quality even today. Fener / Balat is a central location on the European side in the Old Istanbul area 10 minutes by bus or 30 minutes to Taksim (the center of Istanbul nightlife) and 15 minutes by bus to Sultanahmet. From Eminonu (10 minutes away by bus) you can reach anywhere in the city by bus, tram, train, or ferry. Our house is an old historical 4-storey Greek house with a priviliged position, from which you can see the breathtaking Orthodox school. Also, the Orthodox Patriarchate is just a 1-minute walk away. It's also very close to the Golden Horn, where you can enjoy your morning walks along the sea. If you are crazy about history and photography, Balat is the place for you to be. Our neighborhood is one of the main attractions for photographers due to the historical buildings and the typical colored Greek and Jewish houses. Our home is probably located in the most genuine, charming, and authentic area in Istanbul. It is also very atmospheric and local, and at the same time very peaceful and safe. We are three females living in the house. There are two rooms on the first floor, and you will have one of them as well as a shower for your private use only. It has a double bed. We have high-speed wireless internet, central heating and hot water facilities. On the second floor are our two rooms, and on the third floor is the kitchen, salon, another toılet, and balcony, all for common use. On the fourth floor is another one of our bedrooms as well as another shower, which you are free to use should you need it. This is a friendly and open-minded home. We, along with our friendly cat and our miniature lovely dog, are waiting to meet you.
