About Gregory

Greg Webb was appointed in 2003 by New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson to serve as the Executive Director for the New Mexico Commission for Community Volunteerism. Mr. Webb possesses a Master of Public Administration and Bachelors of Arts in Sociology degrees from the University of New Mexico. Mr. Webb is an advocate for youth programs, community engagement, education, promoting service and volunteerism, fiscal responsibility and accountability. Mr. Webb has been a nationally recognized leader in building relationships with multiple organizations and entities while assisting communities maximize their resources. Mr. Webb career has provided him with an opportunity to serve the public in school district, city, county and state government administrative roles. Greg is the co-author of the New Mexico Blueprint for Civic Engagement and was an advocate for the creation of the Next Generation Fund; a public-private state endowed fund supporting positive youth development in New Mexico for future generations. Mr. Webb currently is a member of the New Mexico Children’s Cabinet, the Vice Chairman of the America’s Service Commission National Board of Directors, served as the past Chairman of the Board for the New Mexico College Success Network, and recently has joined the National AmeriCorps Alums Leadership Council. In his free time Mr. Webb enjoys travel, the arts, and jazz music and is an active community member.
