About cathy

As I am an ardent traveller with a facination for that which is different - My first trip ever gave me itchy feet for life!!! A two month sea cruise took me from Durban, to Mauritius, Freemantle, Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland to Rotorua plus Fiji islands, Vavau, Nuku-alofa, Tonga, then back to Auckland, back up to Sydney all the way to Darwin, Singapore and Ceylon as it was still named in 1972 and back to Mauritius and Durban. Then I have been to Seychelles, East and West coast of North America, the UK, many times and France a little and 4 different times to India for 3 months at a time. One of my trips to India I stopped off in Kenya to do a motor car rally, as an assistant photographer. South Africa, my place of birth has seen me zig zaging all over the country side, which was very exciting and met a lot of B&B owners and Self Catering owners which started me thinking of doing the same to earn an income. Well, if you are a nature lover like me you will love Marloth Park as there is Flora and Fauna in great numbers and a bird watches paradise. Marloth Park is Opposite the Kruger National Park, with the border being the Crocodile River and an electrified fence!!! I love animals (wild and domestic) my favourite being domestic cats and wild Cheetah. I love creating things, so I used to make the most sort after aromatherapy candles and sold them at the Organic market in Bryanston Johannesburg for 11 years. I have since tried my hand at making my own electric lamps, and oil lamps with great success. I love anything to do with philosophy and ways to improving body, mind and spirit. That is just to name but a few. Just a little info, Marloth Park is approximately 1 hours drive from Nelspruit and it is +- 46km to the Swaziland border and about 20 minutes to the Mozambique border. Marloth also has 2 of the Kruger National Park entrances to either side of it Malelane Gate and Crocodile Bridge Gate. Hope to see you at my abode asap as it is a great place to chill out and to use as a pad while you wonder in and out of the Kruger Park, and surounding areas OR meditate on your navil!!!!
