    Bracciano is in a lovely setting near the lake and the apartment is in walking distance to the town and the castle. There is an excellent rail service to Rome and again the station is in walking distance from the apartment. If you have a car secure parking spaces are provided with the apartment. The town has several good quality bars and restaurants and we were made to feel very welcome despite our lack of Italian

    Our host kept in touch prior to our visit and was there to welcome us when we arrived. She was most welcoming and provided her contact details in case we needed anything during our stay. She provided us with a map of local amenities in the town and kept in touch via WhatsApp to make sure we were enjoying our stay
