The cosy mountain hut was a lovely rural retreat just outside Lanjaron. It had lots of character, and there was a great view of the surrounding mountains from it. The small kitchen was well equipped, the beds were very comfortable, and there was a shaded terrace which provided welcome relief from the heat of the day. The sound of the surrounding brooks from it was very soothing. We also had access to a swimming pool (which we weren't expecting) which was a very pleasant surprise. The hosts were a short walk from the hut, and they were very helpful if we needed anything.

Lina hosted us during our stay. Although she only spoke a little English, she was quick to reply to any communication before and during our arrival. She was very friendly and extremely helpful - she collected us from the bus stop and drove us up to the hut (if she hadn't, it would have been a long steep hike with our suitcases). Her husband also took us to the bus stop on our departure which was very much appreciated. Lina also gave us advice on places to walk, and provided maps and a guide to Lanjaron. Her dogs were also very friendly and added a lot to our visit. Thank you to all of you!
