Bonjour ! Hello! ¡Hola! Olá! Ciao! Hallo! Привет! 今日は! I am a French citizen who started, mid-2008, a project called "Around the World in 80 months and 10 languages". I arrived in Tokyo mid-October, and Japan is becoming the 12th country where I will have lived (living for me is with a minimum of 3 months), after France (by Lille & Aix-en-Provence), U.S.A. (Huntington Beach, California), Spain (Barcelona), Mexico (D.F.), Argentina (Buenos Aires), Portugal (Lisbon), Italy (Florence & Rome), Austria (Vienna), Germany (Berlin), Ukraine (Kiev) & Russia (Moscow & St Petersburg)... in the last 5 years! I am here on a working-holiday visa, and after 3 weeks searching, I finally found a wonderful location... but couldn't decide between a studio-flat and an apartment with 2 bedrooms 4 floors above... I decided to take both and share my luck with people here. I am new on 9flats.com, but I've had close to 200 guests through other hospitality exchange & peer-to-peer property rental websites, so know how to take care of my guests... but as well respect privacy... basically, to adapt ;-) As well I've stayed with almost 250 locals, in dozens of countries (traveled to 40+ countries), and hitchhiked dozens of thousands of kilometers, so that helps me to understand the needs of a traveler. My life and travels around the world also mean that if you want to know something about the worldS around you, I guess I can help you ;-) And if you want somebody to help you adapting to Japanese culture, as I've recently faced cultural differences, I would be happy to share my knowledge too, and introduce you to my Japanese friends if you want.
