Halina 5.0 2017-10-01Unfortunately, we cannot rate this apartment because our host changed the accomodation we booked for Sht. Nihatbey Cd. No: 133. We didn't get any information before. He said the given apartment was better. We can describe that one. First of all apartment was smaller (size aproximately 40m2). An air conditioner was in the apartment but didn't cool. "Fully equiped" kitchen wasn't fully equiped. There was no nife, no chopping board, only a few plates and mugs. We asked the host for nives and a chopping board, next day he gave it to us (exactly 1 small nife and chopping board). We were supposed to get apartment for 3 people but in this apartment third bed was in the kitchen ( with head next to a fridge)-sofa bed which was dirty. The kitchen and the bathroom weren't too clean. Furthermore in the bathroom we found cockroaches. We are not satisfied. The host told us we could have said something during our stay but we didn't want to waste our short stay for removal. Location and view was OK

die aussicht meerbilck das ist der hammer die unterkunft war ok die wohnung selbst ist gut man solte aber voher sie richtig reinigen das war nicht der fall und man solte vernümpftiges geschier bereit stellen

Our stay at Zenahouse was great. We got another flat which had an even better view over Izmir and the sea. Everything was clean and we really enjoyed our stay. The location is great. It’s a really nice 5 minute walk next to the sea to get to the Konak Square and also only 5 minutes to get to the Metro station. I can really recommend Zenahouse. You really get a lot for your money. Izmir at itself is a very nice city. I liked the basar in Izmir much more than the one in Istanbul. No one cares if you are a tourist or not and you can walk everywhere without anybody who wants to sell anything to you.

Die Wohnung liegt in einem umzäunten Gebiet in Izmir, 6 Wachleute. Keinerlei Supermärkte zu Fuß erreichbar, die Metrostation oder Busse weit entfernt. Stadt mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln schwer zu erreichen. Karsiyaka als Beschreibung des Ortes ist irreführend.

Wir bekamen eine andere Wohnung als gemietet. Sie hatte ein ähnliche Aussicht, war aber völlig anders geschnitten. Zudem lag sie in einem Haus, das noch in Bau befindlich war. Somit war ständiger Baulärm und Baudreck vorprogrammiert. Damit nicht genug: Ständig fiel Strom und Wasser aus.
Eines Abends kamen wir in ein völlig dunkles Haus zurück und unsere Wohnung stand sperrangelweit offen: Bauarbeiter hatten einfach in unserer Abwesenheit (ohne jede Vorwarnung) ein weiteres Bad eingebaut. Alle unsere Sachen war für jedermann offen zugänglich. Genau an diesem Abend war das ganze Gebäude ohne Strom und Wasser und der Vermieter nicht erreichbar. Da kommt Erholung auf! -

I like staying here in my 5 nights in Izmir!
It's spacious flat, nice view balcony, fully equiped on everything, incl. cooking tools, heater, AC, TV, LAN internet (not WiFi), even clean towels.
Strategic location, walking distance to Izban train, Metro, Kipa Supermarket, restaurant, and 2 minutes driving to Airport.
If you and your friends wanna experience living like a local, away from touristic and expensive places in Izmir, you should consider staying in this 200 Gaziemir Flat!

During our stay the host tried to be nice and helpful. He delivered everything we asked for. But we didn't like that he changed our booked apartment for a different one (smaller without terrace). We were informed about it at the day of arrival. When we complained about it after our stay, the host said we could have informed him that we don't like this apartment and he would give us different one. In his opinion the given apartment was better for higher price, but we think it is impossible. Additionaly each negative remark (f.e. that there were cockroaches or it was dirty in some places) were taken as an offence and the answer was always "You got better apartment for the same price".

Als wir abends ankamen, war der vermittelnde Ansprechpartner ertsaunt, dass iwr schon da waren, die Wohnung war nicht frei. Grund: Der Eigentümer habe vergessen, dass wir kommen. Der Ansprechpartner hat uns dann in ein Hotel in einem Stadtteil von Izmir fahren lassen, allerdings sodann unter Vermittlung von 9 flat die Hotelkosten erstattet. Leider 1 verlorener Urlaubstag..

Er kann fließend englisch, aber seine Entgegnungen zu unseren Beschwerden waren stets nur: I am so sorry, I will check it. Leider nur bis zum nächsten Problem....

Zena is a well-traveled person himself so he's open minded. He speaks fluent English, friendly and very helpful. I can easily call him anytime just to ask any info or to take my phone connectiong to a Turkish who doesn't speak English :)
If he had time, he doesn't mind to take me out to hang out in Izmir.
