We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at this beautiful serene apartment. Sandra was so friendly and helpful on our arrival, showing us how everything worked and recommending the best local restaurants etc (Giesinger Garten and a nearby Greek restaurant were excellent!). The apartment met all our needs, and was a short walk to the nearest metro station. We also loved the nearby walk along the riverbank into the old city centre. Will recommend to friends and would definitely stay here again if possible on our next trip to Munich.

We have just returned from a weeks stay in this great apartment, there is nothing about the place I could fault, great location, great facilities, spotlessly clean, supermarket and some lovely little bars/restuarants close by, 3 stops on the subway to the city centre or a lovely 25 minute walk, I would have no hesitation recommending this lovely place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sandra's apartment. It fulfilled all the purposes we needed. The well equipped kitchen enabled us to have a cosy space of our own throughout our two week stay in Munich. We quickly became oriented to the area.

It is good to keep in mind though that if you're staying for a stint that you keep in mind the cost of public transport. We were in Munich for 2 weeks and the public transport added up quickly as it was a little too far out to be walking to and from the apartment every day to sights.

I would also bare in mind that whilst there is washing and drying facilities, these are not inside the apartment itself. There is a designated space and this does cost upon each use. It is completely safe, just good to bare in mind you need to pay and can only use 50Cent (Euro) pieces (x5; so 2.50EUR).

Overral we would defiantly stay again if we come to Munich. It was perfect for what we needed and made our stay relaxing and enjoyable.

We booked this delightful apartment for 4 nights during our vacation in Munich. Vacation rentals are usually impersonal or poorly decorated, but this place blew our minds. Amenities left aside, in which this spacious apartment more then excels, we discovered a tasteful personal museum hidden away from the world, waiting to be discovered. It was a real delight sipping our morning coffee surrounded by welcoming high ceilings and warm lights. Each room told a unique story about the host's life and passions.
Staying in this apartment really completed our Munich experience with a glimpse of what the everyday life of the locals would feel like. I definitely recommend renting this place whilst visiting Munich. There is a lot here that a you just cannot find in a regular hotel room.
The location is also great. The city center is a mere 10 minutes away by subway and there are plenty of mini-markets, fast-food places and pubs within walking distance.

We spent 5 nights at this comfortable, cosy apartment. The description is accurate and the position was just what we wanted: not too close to the middle of the old city, but an easy ride to get to it. We walked to the old city several times along the river: a lovely, interesting walk and a real contrast to the bustling centre but within easble bed. The room was warm and had everything we needed. It is easy to y reach. We ate more than once at a local bierkeller, recently opened, called Giesinger Garten: the atmosphere good the food wonderful and the beer excellent, with good service. Everything in the flat was just right: a small kitchenette, a comfortable bathroom and a comfortable bed. The locastion is good: either walk into the old city or take the U from Candidplatz. Altogether a good place to stay for sightseeing in Munich. Thank you Sandra.

Absoultely fantisitc!!! Very stylish room with comfy bed and bathroom. You got everything you need in the flat. It certainly feels like home. Near the metro statio/supermarkets/restaurants, nice neighbourhood. Totally completely recommended, definitely stay here again!!!

Eine individuell und sehr gemütlich eingerichtete Wohnung in der alles was wir brauchten vorhanden war. Außerdem sehr zental gelegen, die Innenstadt war zu Fuß super zu erreichen und die U-Bahn gleich um die Ecke. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet, sehr sauber, alles war wie beschrieben, und auch wirklich alles vorhanden, was uns den Kurzaufenthalt angenehm gestaltet hat. Sogar ein wenig Proviant war in der Küche vorhanden! Die Wohnung liegt günstig an den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln, sodass ganz München schnell erreicht werden kann. Leider hatten wir nur 2 Tage Zeit, aber wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Wie sind von Sandra Knuth supernett empfangen worden und haben uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Das modern und mit netten Details eingerichtete Appartment liegt sehr ruhig in der Nähe der Isarauen. Bäckerei, Italiener und Grieche sind zu Fuß schnell erreichbar. Sehr nette Hotelalternative. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Kleine aber feine und sehr saubere Unterkunft, ruhige Gegend, gute Restaurants in der Nähe, mehrere Bäckereien und Lebensmittelläden um die Ecke, Joggingmöglichkeit an der Isar in unmittelbarer Nähe, schnelle Verbindung in die Stadt mit Bus oder U-Bahn. Für uns war es perfekt.

Die Wohnung bzw das Appartement ist sehr gut mit der U-Bahn erreichbar, nur etwa fünf Minuten von der Haltestelle Candidplatz entfernt. In der Nähe gibt es einen Bäcker, einen Supermarkt sowie mehrere Restaurants. Besonders zu empfeheln ist der Grieche Lucullus, einfach gehalten aber sehr gutes Essen und billig dazu. An der U-Bahn-Haltestelle befindet sich eine Bankniederlassung mit Automaten. Für alle, die länger wie drei tage in München sind und oft mit den Öffentlichen unterwegs lohnt sich auf jeden fall die Isarcard.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr modern und komplett neu aufbereitet mit einem tollen Holzdielenparkett und einem Top-Bad. Die Kochnische ist sehr klein, aber für 2P absolut ausreichend. Die technische Austattung mit freiem WLAN und Kabel-TV ist super. Insgesamt hat uns die Wohnung sehr gut gefallen und wir können sie gerne weiterempfehlen.
Der einzige kleine Nachteil ist die Hellhörigkeit des gesamten Hauses (Stimmen Nachbarn, Rauschen Wasserleitungen), was aber nur für Leute mit Schlafschwierigkeiten ein Problem werden kann. Die Straße/der Verkehr ist absolut ruhig und nicht hörbar.

Hervorragend ist die zentrale Lage der Wohnung - u.a. ist die U-Bahn Station Candidstraße 5 Gehminuten entfernt; auch zu Fuß ist die Innenstadt mit Erkundung der Umgebung in 30 Minuten zu erreichen. Das Interieur der Wohnung war wie von Sandra beschrieben - alles dabei was wir über die Tage brauchten. Nachts ist es angenehm ruhig.

We have been staying in apartments in Europe for several weeks now and her apartment was the most well equipped. Plenty of towels (not just one per person). We did some self-catering and all the things you would have in your own kitchen were there.
Lovely apartment in a nice neighborhood, with bakeries, a well-stocked grocery store and good restaurants right around the corner.
A two minute walk to the UBahn or a leisurely walk to the Art Museums (only one euro on Sunday!) or the beautiful English Garden.
As the American saying goes - "We would stay here again in a heart beat!!!!"

I thought the apartment was just right, in terms of location and facilities. The U Bahn was a couple of minutes walk away, and there were plenty of places to buy stuff for breakfast etc. Marienplatz was within easy reach by train.

We slept very well, and the neighbourhead was both quiet and unthreatening. Would book again.

Die Wohnung ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, es gibt überall etwas zu entdecken und man kann sich an der Einrichtung kaum satt sehen.
Es fehlt an wirklich nichts, selbst frische Milch war im Kühlschrank. (Vielen Dank dafür!) Die Lage fast direkt an der U2 und in unmittelbarer Nähe zur Schwabinger Geschäfts- und Kneipenwelt ist perfekt!
Wir kommen gerne mal wieder!

Die Wohnung ist hell, nett eingerichtet und perfekt sauber. Alles, inclusive Bad, ist nagelneu. In wenigen Minuten gelangt man per U-Bahn zum Marienplatz. Um die Ecke gibt es eine Hofpfisterei und einen grossen Supermarkt. Lage, Preis, Ausstattung: alles perfekt!
