Notting Hill Notting Hill Carnival 24th - 26th August 2019
It comes every summer. One of the world's largest street carnivals: Notting Hill Carnival. Each year, close to one million people attend this celebration of Caribbean heritage on the streets of Notting Hill. Traditional reggae, meringue, calypso, rumba, and zouk music. And street vendors selling foods like seasoned jerk chicken, callaloo and traditional goat stew. Not to be missed!

Mammoth Festival of Beers & Bluespalooza Mammoth Lake 1st - 4th August 2019
Close to the Yosemite National Park in the cool Eastern High Sierra off Highway 395. A music fest which blends traditional blues with R&B, soul, and rock. The Taj Mahal & Keb’ Mo Band and ZZ Ward are part of the huge line up. And of course beer: 55 beer makers such as nearby June Lake Brewing and Santa Rosa–based Seismic Brewing.

The Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc Chamonix 26th August - 1st September 2019
The Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (aka UTBM ) is a trail running race held in the Alps mountain range. Wonderful high mountain landscapes and passes through three different countries (France, Switzerland and Italy). It is one of the most difficult of its kind in the world: 170 km with a cumulative change in altitude of 10,000 m. The trail is dotted with glaciers and many high-altitude passes of which the highest, the Grand Col Ferret, is 2,500 m above sea level at its highest point.

And of course windsurfing. But also you can have a great walking time in the small village or aside the surrounding mountains. Or just rent a car and head to Trento. A unique event that needs to be attended.
