I am a college educated, English and Spanish speaking woman from the US. I originally came to Colombia five years ago in order to work with an international NGO and I ended up loving it so much that I decided to stay. I guess the popular saying around here is true: the only risk in travelling to Colombia is that you’ll want to stay. My husband and I arrived to Cartagena without much prior knowledge of Cartagena, so we understand what it is like to travel to a new place, and we are happy to help others along their journey.
