We are a married couple in our late fifties/early sixties who have lived and worked in Spain for over 20 years. We own an attractive property in the mountain village of Guaro, which is just 20 minutes inland from Marbella. The first floor of our house is a self-contained 2 bedroom apartment, with sitting room/kitchenette and roof terrace overlooking a plant-lined street. Guaro is an ideal location for exploring the white villages of Andalucia, with larger cities, such as Malaga and Ronda only an hour away. Or, if you prefer, the beaches of the Costa can be reached in less than half an hour.
