A true soul,one that does not copy but that creates from pure imagination and passion.-LK Linzy (Lindsay) Kokoska is a native of Nova Scotia. Over the past 8 years she has lived abroad, from South Asia to Europe and the Middle East, and has grow dramatically in her perceptions of the world and her views as an artist. Her aesthetic comes from the curiosity of the world and the beauty that it holds; in the land and in the people. Her work demonstrates the relationships between shadow and light, color and shapes and texture and smoothness. The use of positive and negative spaces throughout Linzy’s work creates depth and form and in the end, gives thought provoking, emotional compositions that embody balance and beauty.
