We are a non-typical Hollywood couple; uncomplicated, artsy, friendly, well-travelled. We speak English, German, French and some Spanish. We love having friends over to eat and drink but also enjoy our privacy. We are new on this site but I have been hosting guest rooms for a while now and everyone has always been very happy.

Theo 5.0 08/03/2014Amazing place you wouldn't expect in a city like L.A. Cosy garden house in a beautiful backyard, with wooden sun deck attached. Since we only had three days, we especially appreciated being in a great area where you can walk to Melrose, Grove, Sunset Boulevard etc. and catch lots of different buses to other areas. In terms of amenities, it had all we needed and everything was like in the description. People not travelling as a couple should be comfortable with a lamella door to the bathroom. Otherwise, you feel directly at home here and even the selection of DVDs and books was in our taste. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone travelling to L.A.

Frances was very welcoming and our somewhat early arrival wasn't a problem at all. The two dogs who, according to her, are the real owners of the garden house, are really sweet and show up from time to time to say hello and check on things. Coming from Germany, it was great to be met by someone speaking your language as a mother tongue.
