I was born in North Carolina and grew up along the coast. My three children all live in USA, two sons in NC and a daughter in Oklahoma. My pride and joy are my three grandchildren who once a year come to Hawaii for a visit at "Mimi's Beach". I have lived and worked in several places, Aruba, Alaska, and West Virginia. My degrees (3 of them) have allowed me to do several things with my life including, teaching, family therapy, school counseling, school principal and currently Director for Homeless in Hawaii. Opening my home to others has given me the opportunity to make worldwide friends. It is my hope that as you depart from here, we too will be lifelong friends.
