I'm a traveling enthusiast; I've been making solo trips since I was 11. I'd rather be outside than inside. I'm a librarian, so I guess I don't have to say that I read a lot. My interests also include music, art & graphic design, and nature & the environment. I'm preparing to retire and I love touring by bicycle, so I'm hunting for the perfect touring bike. The next trip I have planned is a 10-day bike tour along the Weser Radweg with German friends, followed by a 100-mile ride from London-Surrey-London. The last trip I took was with 10 high school kids from South Texas to Germany for 3 weeks. I have many great memories of trips, but if I had to pick a favorite place, so far, it's the Grand Canyon. I'm from Harlingen, Texas, US. and, in case you're worried, I'm afraid of Donald Trump, too. I'm looking forward to staying with you.
