Stephen 5.0 2015-04-08The flat is perfect for a visit to Funchal. It is quiet and private and the balcony has a direct view of the sea, with no other buildings in the way. The balcony doesn't get direct sun until about lunchtime which was perfect for me as I could sit in the morning for breakfast, enjoy the view, but not worry about getting sunburnt! There's also a private pool for residents/guests set in a terraced garden. The centre of Funchal is 25 minutes walk (great for site seeing) or about 5 minutes in a taxi, of which there are plenty. I recommend this flat wholeheartedly for your holiday and hope to visit again soon.

I was met at the bus stop after getting of the Airbus from the airport and shown the flat. The host was really helpful and friendly.
