The appartement is in a great location if you want to explore Lissabon like we did. Everything from shops, restaurants, train and bus stations and bars are nearby. The flat itself is very clean and nicely decorated. We especially loved the kitchen with the great Portugese tiles and the very modern bathroom. We did not miss anything and we were always happy to come back into the apartement after a long day of sightseeing. We would definitely come back!

Perfect location and perfect facilities especially when you are travelling with friends. In my point of view this location and apartment is hard to beat when you want to explore Lisbon and enjoy the atmosphere in Barro Alto. We totally enjoyed our stay in Hug & Rita's apartment and would not hesitate to come back again.

I booked the apartment as a present for my parents - and they were so happy to stay there! They told me that the apartment is spacious and well equipped, beautifully decorated and that the area around the house is just perfect for going shopping, having dinner, sightseeing... My parents would stay at Hugo´s and Rita´s apartment again and again :-)

This is an awesome place to stay - right in the centre, yet tucked away from the hussle and bussle - a spacious, bright abode, with great views, style and a fab balcony to enjoy the scenery (while trying delicious local food and drink).
We enjoyed our stay so much that it was hard at times to leave the flat and the very comfy beds - 'the best bed ever' according to my goddaughter! -

Wow,what a beautiful apartment ! Old and new in a perfect mix,with lovely and personal decoration. Spacious,very bright and with plenty of sunshine.
Everything for your daily needs is just around the corner.
If you love to cook : this kitchen is really inviting to! If not,plenty of restaurants just 200 meters away. -

A clear 12 out of 10 points! .. This place ist fabulous! And it´s owners are even better! They put in so much love into all details, design and decoration that we did not want to leave but move straight in and stay! The kitchen, bath, bed and everything else (!) were cleaner than clean. The flat is also located directly in the heart of Lisboa and also key means of public transport are just around the corner (as well as the supermarket). We would always come back to this lovely place!

Hugo and Rita were very helpful from the beginning until the end of our stay! Everything went very smoothly and we could always contact them if we had any questions. You cannot feel more welcome and taken care of. They are just the perfect hosts!

Hugo und Rita sind außergewöhnlich freundliche, stets bemühte Gastgeber, die uns empfangen haben "wie Freunde".
Wir konnten uns mit jeder Frage zu jeder Zeit an sie wenden, sie haben sich zuverlässig um alle unsere Anliegen gekümmert.
Ein kleines Willkommenspräsent gehörte ebenso zum Paket wie Bestellung von Taxi und vieles mehr.
Ohne Einschränkung sind die beiden jedem Gast wärmstens zu empfehlen. -

Hug & Rita really know how to be hosts and and have made sure that we will have a great stay in Lisbon. From the Check-In to the Check-Out everything went perfect. We were able to contact Hugo & Rita at any time and they were always helpful (e.g.: restaurant or bar recommendations). Hugo & Rita certainly made it possible to feel like home and I would not doubt a second to recommend staying in their great apartment again - especially given their great sense and taste when it comes to interior design.

Hugo and Rita were the perfect hosts - before arriving in Lisbon, they send us a lot of information on how to get to the apartment, things to do and see in Lisbon,... When my parents were in the apartment, they were very helpful and always available when there was a question. Hugo and Rita are very friendly and welcoming and it was a pleasure to meet them!

Rita and Hugo give you lots of information upon arrival. Mail-contact they answer promptly.
Arriving in Lisboa they further took care(lost luggage). Helpful in any way you could imagine. Thanks again! -

Hugo and Rita were great! They waited for uns when we arrived very late in the evening (and left five nights later at 06:00 AM) and gave a hearty welcome and showed us around in the absolutely stunning flat. Apart from all the essentials being available in the flat they also offered us that we could call them if there would be any problems whatsoever (there weren´t any). The advice they gave regarding restaurants and bars is also very valuable. We would always come back to this lovely place and the very friedly landlords Rita and Hugo!
