Originally from Grimsby in N.E Lincolnshire, England we moved to Ireland some 16 years ago, with our 3 children and Labrador dog Dylan. Now the children are all grown up and we have the addition of 3 grand daughters and a grandson. We 1st lived in Sixmilebridge in Co. Clare and 14 years ago we bought Conroys Bar, at that time an unlicenced former pub, former village shop and post office. We never envisaged having The World's 1st Self Catering Pub, but whilst renovating the house we used the bar as our make shift kitchen and sitting room. It was an off the cuff remark as to what a great holiday/vacation let it would make, just seemed to snowball. The rest as they say, is history.......

Ein sehr nettes Paar, stets bemüht, seinen Gästen den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestaltem
