I live on site and run both the cottages on Doire Farm. I spend my time getting the property in peak condition so there will be no problems for the duration of your trip.

Philipp 5.0 2012-08-10We spent our honeymoon in Johns´ cottage, which is really a romantic one. The host didn´t promise to much, as she told us from it. With the car you have to drive 7 or 8 minutes to Kenmare, what is the next small and cute town worth of a mention, near to this accommodation.
The bathtub even has got a whirlpool!!
All in all I wouldn´t call it luxurious, but in every case cute and really romantic and worth of your money!!Wir haben unsere Flitterwochen in Johns´ Cottage verbracht, das wirklich ein romantisches ist. Die Gastgeberin hat uns nicht zu viel versprochen, als sie uns erzählte von der Unterkunft erzählte.
Mit dem Auto braucht man vielleicht 7 oder 8 Minuten, um nach Kenmare zu kommen, der nächstgrößeren süßen Kleinenstadt, die einer Erwähnung wert ist.
Die Badewanne hat sogar auch einen Whirlpool!
Insgesamt würde ich die Unterkunft nicht unbedingt luxirös nennen, aber in jedem Fall wirklich süß und romantisch und Dein Geld wert!

We could have fresh milk every morning and so far, the chickens have also satisfied to lay eggs now and then an egg!
The four chickens can run around freely yet still, that's wonderful!
In addition, we got an insight on the farm in the strict sense (milking the cows!)
Do not be surprised: in Ireland the cattles don´t have any horns for reasons of security, we have learned.
In fact , we didn´t see so far & wide, no cattle with horns!Wir konnten jeden Morgen frische Milch haben und insofern sich die Hühner auch begnügt haben, mal Eier zu legen, auch hin & wieder mal ein Ei!!
Die 4 Hühner können hier noch frei rumlaufen, das ist herrlich!!
Außerdem hatten wir einen Einblick auf die Farm im engeren Sinne (das Melken der Kühe!!) erhalten.
Nicht wundern: In Irland dürfen Rinder übrigens aus Sicherheitsvorschriften keine Hörner tragen, haben wir erfahren.
Es trägt nämlich tatsächlich weit & breit kein Rindvieh Hörner!
