I am bubbly, friendly and confident. I was born here in London but my parents are chinese from HK. So, if you have any question about London I'm your person. I am a landlady (11 yrs) by day and have had people stay at my house outside of airbnb/9flats so this forum is brilliant. I enjoy skiing, rollerblading regularly and eating out (normally in that order!). Bruce is originally from New Zealand and unlike me Very well travelled. Bruce has travelled India extensively, Middle East and South America. Bruce's line of work is in IT, he studied a BMS and MMS in New Zealand. Although loves skiing (Ive gotta go with someone...) not so good on the skates but it doesnt stop me from dragging bambi on ice out with me.

B. 5.0 2011-07-21Safe area, the place is easy to find, Tesco and McDonalds are just minutes away, the room was big enough, beautiful and large bathroom, nice kitchen, I would go there again.

The house is clean and tidy, the bathroom a luxurious pleasure. My room was to my utter satisfaction, large and comfortable bed with a warm blanket so I could leave the window open at night. Quiet neighbourhood. Haven't seen much of the other rooms as I spent most of my day out, but everything had a welcoming feeling. See photos.
Cheaply reachable from Stansted with national express (~£8 to Stratfort) and Central line (£7.30 for whole day travelticket TfL zones 1-4), but that took me 80+45 min. waiting time for the bus. Consider Ahman's pickup-service for more comfort and far less travel time -

Ahman's place is about 10mins from Leytonstone tube station. Ahman's offers a warm and inviting home. It's quite spacious and sunny with a little backyard and patio that we would have enjoyed if it were warmer. Our room overlooked the garden and was quite large with a wardrobe and shelving available for use. The bed was, by US standards, a queen so it was easy enough to share and came with down pillows and a large down duvet. The bathroom is like something you'd find in a luxury hotel– double-headed walk-in shower and a huge soaker tub.

Choosing to stay with Ahman and Bruce will be the best decision you will make on your trip to London. A convenient five minute walk from the tube; the house is in a beautiful, safe neighborhood with a Tesco and tons of restaurants. Their home is spectacularly clean and is exactly as shown in the pictures. The new bathroom is amazing; a double headed shower and an enormous tub make it easy to relax after a day in the city. The house is very spacious with a large backyard and patio great for relaxing with some tea. The show tickets were brilliant, saw Adele perform on Graham Norton!!

From my first step into their home on, I felt very welcomed by Ahman and Bruce. Lively Ahman and well-traveled Bruce are very kind, hospitable and bright hosts which can always give you some insider tips or just an interesting chat and a smile. I consider it a great luck to have chosen them (the comprehensiveness of the room's description gave me a lot of confidence and a good feeling from the beginning) - when it comes to my next holiday in London, I know where and with whom I want to stay again!

In terms of hospitality, I'm not sure you could beat Ahman and Bruce. They picked us up from the station after a long day of traveling, kept us updated about travel issues, got us last minute tickets to Graham Norton, shared a great lunch with us, and spent many hours chatting with us in the living room. It felt like we were staying with friends instead of paid hosts.

Ahman and Bruce were so intrumental in making my trip to London an enjoyable and easy experience. They were quick to respond to my inquiries and eager to provide any information that I requested. They are both really easy to talk to; very intelligent, hospitable, genuinely kind people. It was easy to see that they were working hard to make my time in their home a stress free, wonderful experience from beginning to end. After a week with them I consider them friends and will be returning to their home at the end of the month! Look no further than this beautiful home in Leytonstone!!
