Latest reviews for places in Warsaw
Daniel's place is a really friendly and cozy one. Especially if you are interested in the Jewish history of Warsaw it is a perfect starting point - don't miss the beautiful cemetery!Marlis reviewed Studio_flat_Warsaw - former Jewish district in Wola
But as well to other parts of the city you can make it quickly: A tram from Warsaw main station stops exactly in front of Daniel's door! And if you don't dare to walk a bit, you will find way more public transport devices (such as night buses) in a fair walking distance. I definitely recommend this place :)
Very nice flat, very central, almost perfect: just a couple of bulbs were not working.. otherwise I'd suggest it to anyone wanting to be in Warsaw's pretty historical centre. Other small issue: that part of town is not easily reachable by car and taxi... so take that in consideration.Emanuele reviewed Saint John in Praga
Off the Beaten Track with Vacation Rentals in Warsaw
Warsaw is a city of castles, skyscrapers, tranquil green spaces and bustling metropolitan areas where commerce and culture have thrived side by side throughout the turbulent history of the last 1,000 years. Known as the Phoenix City for its ability to survive so many wars and come back better than before, Warsaw today is a fascinating place to visit. As with most destinations, the best way to visit the Polish capital is through the eyes of the locals who know the heartbeat of their city – what to see and when to see it, where to eat and where best to experience the real Warsaw. 9flats.com offers vacation rentals in the most exciting districts of the Phoenix City.
Choose a vacation rental in Warsaw’s Old Town and experience a quiet oasis of atmosphere and charm, which is the perfect antidote to the busy commercial areas surrounding it. The Royal Castle and the baroque Church of St Martin are among some of the many the architectural highlights.
Old Meets New: Unique Warsaw Vacation Rentals
The New Town of Warsaw is not actually new – it was largely built between the 14th and 18th centuries and contains many baroque and neoclassical buildings, most of which had to be rebuilt after eighty-five per cent of the city was destroyed during the Second World War. 9flats.com offers vacation rentals in Rãdmiecie, which will put you right at the heart of the Warsaw’s center. Today the area is comprised of charming streets lined with restaurants, cafes and market stalls selling fresh produce and local crafts. For a bit of history, look for vacation apartments in Stare Miasto, Warsaw’s Old Town, and experience peace and tranquility when you walk through the landscaped gardens of Łazienki Królewskie Park. There you will find the castle of Poland’s last monarch, which stands on an island in the center of a lake. Before heading back to your apartment in Warsaw, dine on traditional Polish food as well as cuisine from all around the world. And finish with a Warsaw specialty – jelly-filled doughnuts known as Zygmuntówka.
Explore Poland and Beyond
9flats.com also offers a variety of vacation rentals across the country, such as vacation rentals in Poznań, one of the oldest and most vibrant cities in Poland, especially when the bars open up at night.
