The apartment and the environment are very peaceful and quiet. I enjoyed that after a hard day of sightseeing. However, budget travelers should take into account that the return metro ticket to the inner city costs over six Euro per day.
A useful tip: there is a launderette in Farmsen, which is only two or three metro stations from Volksdorf.

We went with two adults and two little children. It was perfect.

Everything was clean and what us surprised were all the stuff in the house. Towels, hairblower and even shampoos, olive oil, herbs etc. Very friendly host.
Only the shower was a little bit low for us long people. But who cares. all the rest was great! We will come back again -
