Pengelly Farm has been in the family for four generations. My wife and I have run the farm as a Dairy farm for the past 20 years. We have four children aged from 12yrs to 20yrs, who are are all girls. The courtyard that the cottages are set in used to be the milking parlour, and cattle sheds. As our dairy herd expanded we needed to build a bigger parlour, which rendered the courtyard redundant, an ideal situation for conversion. The dairy farm is still running, alongside the cottages; which gives an ideal opportunity to watch the cows being milked from the viewing gallery, and to watch,and help feed the calves. There are also several horses on the farm, with mares foaling in the spring; for those keen horse riders there are several riding centres nearby.
