Walking distance to la Coulée verte, the antique indoor parisian railway, refurbushed into a nice walking and running lane linking Opéra Bastille to Le bois de Vincennes, passing by Gare de Lyon, Le viaduc des Arts and Reuilly Gardens. This green corridor of 4.5 km is the best running lane inside Paris (no car, no bus, no pollution). This pretty appartement is surrounded by several shops, bakeries, groceries, drugsmart, such as Carrefour, Monoprix, Nicolas ! Right at the corner, bus 87 will carry you direct to the Tour Eiffel / Champs de Mars. Using bus 87 for visiting Paris from this pretty appartment is the cheapest parisian tour operator , it will cost you one métro ticket only ! Bus 87 stops at Gare de Lyon (connecting to all RER AD, métro 1 / 14), Bastille, Université de Jussieux/Institut du Monde Arabe, Boulevard Saint Germain (get off at Dante and cross the Seine river for visiting Notre Dame and Isle de la Cité), passes by all fashion shops on Saint Germain des Prés, Invalides, ends at Tour Eiffel / Champs de Mars. What is great with bus 87, is that it comes back the same way ! Easy to use ! From this pretty appartment you will reach the west end of the city using the Tram (street car) T3, passing by the south, from Porte de Charenton to Pont du Garigliano (16eme) stopping all along at Cité Universitaire, Porte d'Orléans, Porte de Versaille, ending at Pont du Garigliano. What is great is that we do not use underground to visit Paris from my place ! We can travel and connect through the city from home using only buses and tram ! Of course, there are also 2 métros at walking distance from this pretty appartment : Dugommier and Daumesnil.
