About Kathryn & Chloe
Hello! We are Chloe & Kathryn. Kathryn loves legos and Chloe loves creating fun new recipes. We are a young professional couple; Chloe works in real estate and Kathryn is a freelance commercial director. We love legos, our pet fish, food, and motorbiking Vietnam. The reason we joined 9flats is to create new friendships, especially with creative individuals. We've made some amazing lifelong friendships from backpacking and staying in hostels and shared spaces. Therefore, we created a little oasis in our apartment's extra bedroom for travelers.

Craig 1.0 01/09/2014We had to leave the apartment after one night. Nothing like quoted. Mould everywhere in the bathroom, Noisy +++, club next door going all night, construction site next door, creaking banging water pipes all night (They supplied ear plugs so knew about it), no TV signals, the owners, clothes, toiletries, old food etc etc all through the apartment. We rented an entire apartment ie the whole empty flat for 2 weeks not a sublet of a room. Very bad area of Brooklyn, not safe at night, barely safe in the day, no where near Williamsburg or the good parts of Brooklyn. Not at all as quoted. Demanding a refund was the worst place we have ever rented.

The hosts are friendly enough however they do not understand the difference between renting a room of their flat and renting the entire flat. Renting just a room, sure all their stuff will still be there. Renting the entire apartment you clean out all your stuff, you don't keep living there and expect everyone to live around you.
Brooklyn is very varied as a suburb and some notes about the surrounding area are pertinent to anyone coming from overseas. Its no good being near a subway station if its practically gangland around it.
