My curiosity has led me to Barcelona more than 11 years ago. Since then I have seen a number of holiday rentals, met their host and made a particular choice, which I gladly recommend here. At all the houses I present here, I have stayed at least a night and tested them from top to bottom. I speak English and French as well as Spanish and Catalan besides German (Native), I am happy to give you hints, where to go in Barcelona or other places. There are so many interesting cultural events such as Catalan human towers (castellers) or during the winter months a socalled Calçotada-meal ("Red Onion Food" in rustic fashion, that is directly from the hand to mouth - is hard to imagine, if you haven't experienced it).
