I am originally from Vilnius, Lithuania. Fluent in Lithuanian, Russian and English. Live in NYC for last 20 years and enjoy every day of it. I love traveling myself and have friends all over the globe. After so many years I still maintain my cultural diversity and are able to understand real needs of travelers from all over the globe.

CYRILLE 4.0 10/31/2015Joris' flat is very convenient for a family stay. There is a fridge and a micro-way and a " kichennette". We always had our breakfasts and sometimes our dinners there. All superstores around are convenient to get some foods (prices are more interested than in Manhattan).

I stayed with my family at Joris apartment for a couple of days. My parents and sister arrived a few days before me as I still had to work. Arriving at the house you would not expect what awaits you inside. The apartment is in the basement and my parents weren't uses to that so at first it was kind of a shock, but the shock was gone pretty soon. The apartment has a family room with two couches, one of the is functuring as a bed. The apartment also has a small bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. It was perfect for our stay and just a short walk to the subway station. Joris as a host was very helpful as well. Even before we arrived he send us descriptions on how to get to the apartment and which ways are the best and cheapest, so the taxi driver wouldn't rip us off!
All in all we had a very pleasant stay and I'm sure I'll come back if I visit NYC again! (: -

The apartment was really great, very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The pictures are very accurate, what you see is what you get. We prefer to use the Myrtle metro station, because we find the zone better.
If we return to NY we will choose this apartment again! -

Joris's place is a true gem close to the city. I can't think of anywhere else to stay if I come back. Spacious and clean, met Joris on the last night I was there and he is friendly and accommodating host. Thanks so much!!!

Die Ausstattung war perfekt, es war alles da, was man braucht, außer ein Geschirrhandtuch ;-)
Die Wohnung ist tatsächlich etwas außerhalb, aber bis zur Bahn sind es nur 10 min zu Fuß. Deswegen geht's. Bei Dunkelheit würde ich eher nicht von der Bahn zur Wohnung laufen, da es keine belebte Gegend ist. Aber wahrscheinlich auch nur, weil man die Gegend und das Umfeld halt nicht kennt. Sonst braucht man sich aber überhaupt keine Sorgen machen. Die Wohnung ist auf jeden Fall weiterzuempfehlen!

Joris is very helpful and very nice. He is very organized. We have received a description of the way for coming to his flat from the airport JFK. All information needed was in the documents sent to us 10 days before our arrival.

Joris was the perfect host. Even before my family and I got to NYC. He send me all kinds of information regarding on how to get to his apartment the easiest and cheapest way. If we had any issues we could just text Joris via whats app and he would be there in an instant. He checked up on us the night prior to our departure just to make sure everything was great. I can only say, thank you Joris for the great stay! (:

Freundlich und zuvorkommend..hatten eines abends (23.00 Uhr) probleme mit dem strom und er löste umgehend...gab gute tipps für NYC...kann man nur weiter empfehlen

Er gab uns viele nützliche Hinweise, zB wie man vom Flughafen zur Wohnung kommt, wie das U-Bahnnetz zu nutzen ist, wo der nächste Supermarkt ist etc. Außerdem war er immer erreichbar. Alles hat problemlos geklappt.
