About Gregory
Gregory Papadoyiannis was born in Crete, Greece and lived many years in Athens. He has a university degree in law and journalism, and also studied film directing. His career history includes work with newspapers, magazines, radio and television for well-known broadcasting organisations and television stations, initially as a sports correspondent and later as a columnist and editor and has collaborated in redacting various travel guides. He is also the author of the book ''52 eyelands'' a travellers ''sentimental'' guide through the Greek islands (2013, strangedays books, available also through amazon) He currently lives in the old town of Rethymno with his wife and daughter.
