About Gioberto
Welcome to Amsterdam! a melting pot of cultures making it one of the most diverse places on earth... This is reflected back in the "Amsterdammers" who are considered to be world citizens. Born and raised in Amsterdam i therefore have a strong interest in travelling and learning from different cultures; my background is in the Caribbean, lived in Latin-America and Finland and currently have a strong connection with Eastern-Europe. Crazy about food and always interested in learning more about it. Consulting in Cloud computing is what keeps me busy during the day, in my own time i try to enjoy life as much as possible! Unfortunately i'm not able to travel constantly and therefore host at 9flats to learn more about the world from you! Spanish, English, Croatian or even Suomi ? no problem... My girlfriend and I came over from London to enjoy Amsterfam as the locals do; avoiding most of the tourist traps. We were able to do that and a lot more thanks to 9flats. The interior of the flat is very cosy and it was designed with a very high attention to detail. It feels like the flat of an adventurous foodie (think lots of spices and cookbooks). The location is great and the host, Gio, was very helpful in suggesting activities, restaurants and other interesting things to do.

We had a great time in a great flat which was furnished very nice. There is a balcony which allows us to spend time outside in the sun.
It is located in a very good neighborhood and close to the central.
We will come again..... -

The Apartment was just perfect for our trip to Amsterdam, you got everything you nead near you, so it makes it really comfortable.

Gioberto war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns unter seinem Dach sehr wohl gefühlt.

Before arriving Gio described us how to get to the flat the easiest way and arranged the time with us perfectly.
He helped us with every question we had and he also could give us some recommendations where to eat or to dance.... Everything went out totally easy. Fantastic host!!!!! -
