I first sailed into Playa Gigante in 1978, I'm a life long surfer who spent most on my youth sailing the shores of the Americas. In 1998 I was shipwrecked in Nicargua. I lost everything and was too proud to ask friends for a hand. I starved but little by little worked myself up. I'be patched dings, build fuel tanks and even sold real estate. My surf tour operation was one fo the first in the country and I was able to use my experience with sailing to pick the best locations for my places to stay.
